After a week I decided the pads were great. Now going into my first Junior B season I am on my third set of leg pads. We found the same thing with the BODDAM JPD Body Armor with the CARDIO SHOCK SYSTEM , as well as the BODDAM REFUZE Trapper and Blocker we bought last year. Tried on several brands of Body Armor and I just couldn't find one that wasn't stiff as a board, the BODDAM Body armor was game ready immediately. All of his equipment was CUSTOM order and the BODDAM team Chris and Jason are so knowledgeable were wonderful to deal with and the end product exceeded our expectation for looks and more importantly PERFORMANCE.

Read MoreMy son just got his custom made junior glove and blocker set and LOVES both. He always had trouble closing his previous junior glove and was shocked by how easy this one closes right out of the box without losing any protection. He also says that the blocker is a lot lighter and that he can move it faster. For us parents, we can't beat the price for custom designed equipment and the turnaround time was phenomenal - about 2 1/2 weeks from order to our door! The customer service from Chris and Jason has been terrific in explaining everything to us and making sure we were happy. I'm sure we'll love the leg pads we have ordered as well and can't wait to get them. We're looking forward to sticking with Boddam equipment for as long as possible.

The quality is second to none, there is not a stitch out of place, or any puckering or wrinkling of any leather. The new strapping system on the pads is secure, yet provides a good rotation. The new toe bungee system is an added bonus. The glove is completely broken in, and is very protective. The blocker has great protection and a soft palm. I am a true gear guy, and this is the best gear I have seen to date! I have worn every major brands top end equipment, and nothing will compare to my Boddam set! Thanks Guys.
